You Don’t Need to Have Luck of the Irish to Find The Perfect Gift at Arnold’s Fine Jewelry in Pasadena

Published on Mar 15, 2020

March is National Irish American Heritage Month with St. Patrick’s Day on March 17. So, wouldn’t you think March’s birthstone would be the emerald? No so!

It’s Aquamarine with a rich color that ranges from pale to deep blue, reminiscent of the sea. It has long been a symbol of youth, health and hope.

Bloodstone is March’s second birthstone and is also known a “heliotrope,” a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz that occurs mostly as jasper (opaque) or sometimes as chalcedony (translucent). The “classic” bloodstone is opaque green jasper with red inclusions of hematite.

Arnold’s Fine Jewelry has offered rings, necklaces, bracelets, earring and many more choices set with aquamarines and emeralds as well as all birthstones of the calendar for shoppers since 1910 when it opened in Pasadena by C.O. Arnold.
